HCT Wings - Something Wonderful!

IF YOU HAVE A LOVE FOR THEATRE, WE WANT YOU!

HCT Wings, the support arm of the theatre, is growing but unlike chefs in the kitchen, you can never have too many volunteers. We are always looking for those individuals who have a talent for giving of their time, their ideas, or their creative joy in all things possible, i.e., their love of theatre.

The two main purposes of the creation of HCT Wings was to get more people involved in volunteer activities at the theatre, whether it be in front of the curtain or behind, as well as helping HCT operate more efficiently and professionally. Our roster is many but we still tend to have the same folks coming to help. Our whole intention of developing Wings was to become a venue for everyone to be part of the fun at the theater and not just a few.

"There are so many functions in the theatre where volunteers could be used that we can truly say we have a job for everyone!" said Millie Adcox, president of HCT Wings. "Whether your interests lie in helping with an actual production, assisting with ticket sales, box office, or concessions, organizing and staging a fundraiser, selling raffle tickets, or merely helping prepare mail-outs and delivery flyers about upcoming events, there is a niche for you at HCT."

"One of the best parts about being a Wings member is that you decide what you want to do and how much time you want to spend in your volunteer activity, so you don't have to worry about being overloaded with functions that are of no interest to you. You can volunteer as much or as little as you want."
