Upcoming Meeting

HCT Annual Membership Meeting

Members and prospective members are invited to this annual meeting on Sat., Aug. 18, 2012, at 7:00 P.M.

There will be a short business meeting with annual reports. Members will vote on the recommended new Board Members. Officers and all Board Members will be introduced. Volunteers will be recognized.

Next sit back and enjoy an introduction to next season's major productions.

There will be opportunities to sign up for committees, join HCT for next season, and order season tickets. We look forward to seeing you there!

Please Share Your Memeories for Our Theater's History :

Photographs of the original Habersham Theater are needed both for interest and for documentation of the appearance of the building. The facade has been restored to what is believed to be original and further augmented by design suggested by the University of Georgia Art department in conjunction with the Georgia Historic Society. The theater was a recipient of Clarkesville Facade Grant Award.

Many interior elements have been restored and others renovated to accommodate a live theater. Many people have mentioned memories of attending the movie or a stage presentation at Habersham Theater. There have been wonderful stories of first dates, Saturdays at the movie, and others. These stories bring back wonderful memories that are worth sharing. We would be delighted for anyone who has memories to write a note to us to tell about them.
